Our organisation is growing, and we have incredible stories to share. The Tenure Facility is gathering a constellation of exceptional freelance writers to support this – are you interested in helping highlight the vital work of our partners, advancing land rights for indigenous and local communities across the developing world?

The writers selected will be part of a pool of talented and experienced individuals, producing a wide variety of content for the Web, from articles and blogs to scripts.

Web content writers will be expected to create work that is optimised for use online, to know basic design fundamentals and be familiar with digital content management systems. They are also expected to communicate effectively, meet strict deadlines and follow the Tenure Facility’s editorial guidelines.

The pool of writers will work remotely, managed by the Head of Strategic Communications and Outreach, and in close collaboration with the Communications and Outreach officers.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of and sensitivity to different cultures and complex contexts
• International working experience in developing countries.
• Vast experience writing for international development organisations, news agencies or other media outlets.
• Native English – or exceptional proficiency – is essential, other languages are a plus.
